Brogdale is home to the National Fruit Collection, the world’s largest collection of fruit trees and bushes. The collection preserves over 4000 varieties dating back to Roman times. Explore the orchards on a guided tour to discover interesting history stories and facts surrounding our fruit heritage. Brogdale Collections is the charity that keeps the National Fruit Collection open for public access, information and education. Brogdale Collections organises seasonal events at Brogdale including a Strawberry Fair in June, Cherry Fair in July, Cider Festival in August and Apple Festival in October. Brogdale offers offer group visitors great days out and deals throughout the whole year too, including private guided walking and tractor trailer tours of the orchards.
OPEN FOR TOURS: Daily from 1st April-31st October. Tours depart at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm. ENTRANCE: Orchard Pass adult £12, concessions, £10, family £25 (excluding festivals).
